It's been a busy few weeks, both at home and at work. We finally got color painted on the walls of the kids' rooms, although it looks like we need to re-do one of them (lesson learned: it never pays to take shortcuts; we really should have primed before putting the color on!).
We're still working on the questions for ICBF - sigh. We made a first pass at answering, but apparently we are still being too vague in our responses. Julie gave us some very helpful feedback, so we'll now take another crack at refining our answers. (Hopefully it won't take us another three weeks - I'm a little worried about our delay in getting back to ICBF and how it might be affecting their impressions of us.) :-(
Meanwhile, work is crazy busy right now, so it's been difficult to have brainpower left at the end of the day to think about anything else. We're in the last week of prep for our annual fund-raising banquets next weekend. After that, things should settle down a little...I think?
